What you practice, you improve upon. If you practice reading, you will get good at reading, but wont necessarily gain any speaking skills. Because every learner has slightly different goals, for the sake of being practical, I recognize that these goals are different and I have attempted to separate some different aspects into sections. This is so those who might, for example want to develop a rapid ability to converse in Business Chinese, might be able to do so in separation from the writing if that's what they wish to do, and those wanting to read and translate Chinese texts, could specifically focus on the reading and writing aspects. However if you are wanting to develop for a comprehensive understanding of Chinese culture, you would want to study the language from as many angles as possible.
I have chosen to separate the Study of Mandarin into the aspects below. Learners are encouraged to pursue each section as they please to suit their own personal needs and desires. Knowing that ultimately, any aspect will give you a better understanding of each of the other aspects.
